Ridgeway Methodist Church, Plympton forms part of the Plymouth and Devonport Methodist Circuit, in the south-west of England, UK. Situated at the centre of the town of Plympton, on the outskirts of the city of Plymouth, it is an active, growing, Bible-based church with a welcome for all ages.

At Ridgeway Methodist Church we aim to worship God in a way relevant for today and share His unconditional love as it is revealed in the life, death and resurrection of His Son Jesus Christ. We acknowledge our need to be filled with the Holy Spirit, who enables us by our words and deeds to witness for Jesus both in our community of Plympton and Plymouth and throughout the world. Our worship at Ridgeway Methodist Church includes Biblical preaching and a blend of both traditional and modern music. We also have a busy evangelical outreach programme.

Our building is located right at the heart of the town of Plympton, on the edge of the city of Plymouth. The Church lies at the junction of Mudge Way and the Ridgeway, having moved from the centre of the Ridgeway in 1994. The Church can trace its history in the Ridgeway area back more than 200 years to 1815.  Our current minister is the Revd Andy Day, who moved from Barnsley to join us in September 2012.

Ridgeway Methodist Church is in a prominent position alongside Plympton's main shopping area, and the illuminated cross on the outer wall of the worship area can be clearly seen at night.  The modern Church building includes a large worship area which can seat over 200 people, in a variety of seating arrangements. We also have two halls, a fully equipped kitchen and other meeting rooms, a purpose-designed crèche with a triple-glazed window into the worship area, and a pre-school room attached to the Church.

Our web site aims to provide information about all areas of church life. Please use the menu above to browse the different sections of the site. We hope that you find the site interesting and informative and of service to the Glory of God.
